One day Natasha heard a pitiful “meow.” She froze and listened. The sound came from thick lilac bushes. Carefully parting the branches, the girl saw an orange fluffy kitten with a white chest and huge eyes.
Kitten and the girl: the magical path of friendship
Once upon a time, there was a six-year-old girl named Natasha. She was kind, curious, and often walked in the garden behind the house. Especially in the mornings, when everything around was just waking up: flowers were opening their petals, birds were chirping songs, and the sun was just starting to peek out from behind the trees.
One day Natasha heard a pitiful “meow.” She froze and listened. The sound came from thick lilac bushes. Carefully parting the branches, the girl saw an orange fluffy kitten with a white chest and huge eyes.
— Hello, — said Natasha. — Who are you?
— I’m Kuzia, — the kitten replied. — And I’m… magical. Only now I’ve lost the magical path, and I can’t get home.
— A magical path? — the girl was surprised. — Where was it?
— It only appears when there is a kind heart nearby, — Kuzia sighed sadly.
Natasha smiled.
— Well then, let’s go together. Let’s see what happens!
And suddenly — right in front of them, a narrow path sparkled from under the grass, shimmering like a rainbow. This was the very magical path of friendship. It led through the forest, where adventures awaited them.
First turn: the forgetful hedgehog
On the side of the path sat a hedgehog rubbing his nose with his paw.
— I lost my burrow… I’m so scatterbrained, — he sniffled.
— We’ll help you! — said Natasha. Kitten Kuzia sniffed the bushes, peeked under the leaves, and found the burrow. The hedgehog cheered up and laughed:
— Thank you, my kind friends! How wonderful it is to have someone nearby who will help in a tough moment!
Second turn: the frightened bunny
Farther along, they met a rabbit trembling behind a tree.
— There’s something rustling near the stream! I’m scared!
Natasha and Kuzia came closer… And there was a cute little frog hopping on the leaves. Everyone laughed, even the bunny.
— Sometimes the scary is just the unknown, — said Kuzia.
— And when you’re not alone — it’s not so scary, — added Natasha.
The bunny waved goodbye with his paw, and the path sparkled again.
End of the journey: the meadow of wishes
Finally, the path led them to a sunny meadow. In the center stood a huge tree with silver leaves. On each leaf — a wish.
— Now you can go home, — said Natasha.
— Only if you make a wish too, — Kuzia replied.
Natasha thought and whispered:
— Let everyone have someone to walk the path with — even if it’s magical.
Kuzia winked and jumped onto the girl’s lap. And Natasha realized that now she also had a small faithful friend.
Since then, the girl walked in the garden every day, and the orange fluffy kitten Kuzia was always by her side. And whenever someone needed help — the magical path appeared again.
